THE QUALIFICATION UNITS
The qualifications follows a modular scheme and each module contains a set of units:

Unit 14 – Case Studies
Following completion of the qualification, or verification of existing qualifications, instructors are granted CERTIFIED STATUS with the UK SDMAG and can apply for a licence. What makes this qualification unique is the ability for licenced and certified instructors to go into schools, businesses and local authorities and teach legally defensible and fully compliant self defence classes, courses and seminars.

The Certified Instructor Award can be taken by enrolling one of our APPROVED TRAINING CENTRES (ATC). A list is available HERE All certificates are issued by the UK SDMAG as the awarding body and logged against our register of approved Instructors. The UK SDMAG does not provide the training itself as it is an awarding body and as such remains impartial and does not set the process for the qualifications. UK SDMAG charges a student registration fee to the ATC and annual ATC licence fees.
